805Help, with the generous donations of our community, is able to host events for survivors at our Disaster Recovery Store.
On April 28, we hosted a Spring Market with a focus on self-care and wellness items. THANKS to the donations from our community and volunteers, survivor individuals and families were able to leave with bags and wagons of gift cards, home goods, wellness and comfort items.
At this time, the May 4th Spring Market has been postponed.
As soon as we are able to provide details, we will open registration for the next event.
We continue to need the help of our community to fill the store with items our survivor community need and the items that bring recovery and wellness.

THANK YOU TO OUR PARTNERS!
WHAT DONATIONS ARE YOU NOT ACCEPTING?
We are not able to accept used items (except those specifically listed above), any open products or items without tags or any food items.
WHERE CAN I DONATE USED ITEMS?
For all used donations, we recommend you take them to our friends at Goodwill. All Goodwill locations throughout Santa Barbara & Ventura Counties are happy to take your used donations and are supporting hundreds of survivors with gift cards. In this way, your used donations are supporting survivors in our community.
HOW CAN I VOLUNTEER FOR THE DISASTER RECOVERY STORE?
Send us an email HERE. We always need volunteers, and love working with individuals, groups, community partners, business teams, and other organizations. During pop-up events, we need volunteers to support the survivor shopping experience, merchandise the store and back stock inventory as well as running registration and check-in efforts and even carrying bags out to cars. Outside of pop-ups, we need help organizing donations and merchandising the store so that we can get it ready for future shopping events. Hosting a corporate giving event or donation drive also helps us keep the store shelves filled for our survivors families.
